BED BUG INSPECTIONS
When you reach out to Ninefold Pests for help with a suspected bed bug problem, one of our licensed and highly trained pest control specialists will conduct a detailed inspection of your home. We focus on identifying all life stages of bed bugs—adults, nymphs, and eggs—in common hiding spots such as:
- Mattresses and box springs
- Bed frames and headboards
- Upholstered and wooden furniture
- Curtains and wall hangings
- Baseboards and flooring edges
- Ceiling and wall junctions
- Window and door frames
- Electrical outlets and switch plates
If bed bugs are confirmed, we’ll walk you through the recommended next steps and schedule a treatment at a later date. Because specific preparation is required before service, treatment is not performed on the same day as the inspection.
HOW WE EXTERMINATE BED BUGS
On treatment day, we will vacuum bed bugs that are visible to our team. Once that’s complete, we will steam mattresses, box springs, and upholstered furniture, if necessary. Finally, we’ll target all bed bug life stages using a product that kills on contact and also provides a residual control that begins working within minutes of exposure.
After we’ve finished treating the infested room, we’ll install mattress encasement(s), bait stations, and glueboards to monitor for bed bug activity. Within two weeks, we’ll return for a follow-up visit.
Please note, people and pets cannot re-enter the infested area until two-four hours after the treatment has been completed. Ask your pest control specialist for details.

INSPECTION
Our first visit entails a comprehensive inspection by a skilled technician to identify pest activity, potential entry points, nesting sites, and harborage areas on your property. This thorough assessment ensures we target the specific challenges your home faces.
INTERIOR/EXTERIOR TREATMENT
Following the initial inspection, we implement a dual treatment strategy, covering both the interior and exterior. This includes treating baseboards, dusting plumbing, baiting for ants and roaches, addressing rodents, applying foundation spray, and more.
POST-TREATMENT EXPECTATIONS
Post-treatment, your technician will brief you on what to expect, including a temporary uptick in pests as their habitats are disturbed. However, a decrease in activity is expected within weeks, with our services maintaining a strong defense against future invasions.
